Default GS 300 F-Sport Air Intake

Would Appreciate Your Help

I own a Lexus GS300 2007 Model,

I have been searching all over the net on where i can order the F-Sport Air Intake for it, and all the available models listed on the sites are for GS350

According to some sites the Air Intake is not compatible with my GS?
And some say is it but with a little modification? What kind of modification are we talking here?

If it is not compatible, can you please give me a good site that ships internationally that i can order the intake from.

I Live in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh

Thanks,

Salim

I am not sure about that too. I dont want to take the risk of ordering a part that will not fit.

I have read in forum where people say the IS300 F Sport Air Intake should fit the GS300 with a few modifications. My engine type is 3GR-FSE if it helps...

Please!!! I really wanted the intake!

Is The F-Sport Acessories only available in the US?

Nope it won't fit on the GS300 tried and the box is different frorm the GS 350 not sure why but the box is shaped differently, take a picture so we can verify but I sure yours is no different, although maybe they make it with the same shape as the 350, but take a pic and post it.

Well i went ahead and ordered the air intake for the IS300, as i was scared the 350 one wont fit. According to many, the IS300 can fit in the GS300 with a few small mods. Should be arriving here soon.

But will take pics and post them anyway... If worst comes to worst i can always sell it...lol

Wish me luck!

Received the F sport cold air intake, not compatible. Just thought ide let you know but i did have many IS owners who are interested so i sold it two days later made my money back with a lil profit since it is not available here.

The GS300 intake box is longer and more stretched. So the only choice i guess i have would be other brands.

Hmmm, thanks bro!

Can you custom make a cold air intake with a cone style K&N filter? The car will sound amazing!

I think I'm gonna go for K&N, it turns out that the 2007 GS300 uses the same intake as the '01-'05 2nd gen GS... i was pretty surprised the answer was so simple, the bright side i have more choice now since the 2nd generation has so many choices. But I am not sure about 2008+ GS300 models. It upsets me how they don't make that clear on any of the sites.

Ummm Not sure about that one. 2G Gs300's were 2JZ's, I think yours is a 2GR motor. (totally not sure on your motor, I know my 02 GS300 was a 2JZ though.)

Unless the 2UZ (V8) from the 2nd Gens work. Again...sounds not right to me.

1st Gen IS300 is the (essentially) same as a 2nd Gen GS300 drive train. Inline 6 with the TB pointing towards the passenger side, middle of the engine. Your motor should be a V6 with the TB at a 45degree angle from the back of the motor at the firewall.

I would think that this cross model fit would only work with a 2nd gen IS250 which should be the same (essentially) drive train as the 3rd gen GS300.

There is a thread laying around here showing the difference between gs300 intake and gs350 intake. The mounting tabs for the MAF sensor on the gs300 is different then on a gs350.
