This isn't scientific. The results are going to be off because the demographic of this forum is younger. If I had to guess, I would estimate the average age to be 42-45.

I asked the same question ^^ I'm 22 and I thought I should be driving something more like an IS or IS-F! But I grown to live the GS...but I still would like to get an IS-F in the future!

I like this thread more because of the poll! I didn't know how to make a pole so I just asked instead

Yup.

If a young person is driving a 3GS, then most likely:

A) It wasn't bought new
B) Mommy and/or Daddy bought it for them
C) They have an inheritance

There is a minority of younger people who paid full-price for a GS on their own. Not bashing anyone... hey if you got a 3GS, then it's all good! I got two!

Main reason I chose a GS vs a IS is the fact that in a GS I can grow into it. The IS might look like a car a 21 year should have but, well just sit in it. Not saying anything bad about them what so ever but they are small. I am planning on giving this car to my kid so that means it needs to grow with not only me but my family. An IS I would be on the limits with that. Now I don't have kids nor have any plans for any/accidents in the future but it's nice to know that a car can withstand a persons growing needs as he/she moves forward in this world. This can be done with both cars just seemed more logical to me to go in the direction I did. Plus I like the car over all better. Also you don't see too many vs the IS and even LS.
