06' GS430 Rim Sizing Help
I am looking into purchasing new Rims for my Lexus but first i need a little help in making a few decisions.
1. My 18" stock rims are looking bad from the winters so i am hoping to just use them for the winter months in Chicago with my Bliztech tires.
2. I was thinking about purchasing 19-20" rims but than do i have to lower my gs430 and if so how much will that cost. If i lower my car will that screw up my winter months with my stock 18" rims?
3. i like the look of the lowered car but because i live in the city will that be a bad idea with pot holes or how the car will drive?
4. I am confused on what size rims i can install on my car with out rubbing or complications. I beleive my stock rims are 18x8 bolt 5-114.3 w/ offset 45.
5. I am looking at rims that are the same but a different off set of 38?

What do u guys think about the Milanni Rims? they look good for under $1000 or are they terrible rims?
Any feedback would be great its so hard to choose rims, just dont want to get wrong size and pay more than $1100 for rims.
Thanks again guys

1. Excellent Idea, this is what I did.
2. I vote for 20"...
3. you will be fine. I managed so can you
5. Please dont. You can find better rims used in the classified section for a fraction of the cost new.
You need to make sure the front rims will clear your large OEM BBK. Other then this its preference and how you want it to look. One thing I suggest is to not stretch your tires because of our roads to make sure your rims have full protection.
