just wondering if there is anything wrong with installing the newest navi disk, but a copied disk because someone is selling it locally for $50
would it work exactly like the real copy?

Don't do it. If it doesn't work, you're gonna have a hard time getting that burned disk out of the drive. The drive will attempt to read it, and continue to do so and you can just hear the reader spin up. Eventually it will break. It's a $1400 part. How do I know? I accidentally put a generation 4 updated 10.1 Nav Disk in my car without knowing the difference between generations as my 08 is a generation 5. The disk would not read and it wouldn't come out. The hidden button trick didn't work. Disconnecting the battery doesn't work. Took it to the dealer and they said they would have to order me a new one.
I went to a friends house, tinkered with it and an hour later we got the disk out. We had to take apart the entire glove box, unplug the DVD drive and physically take that apart too. It was such a huge headache.
Spend the $150 and get the legitimate one from the dealer.
