Default VAIS for my 2006 GS300

Hi everyone,

My car is 2006 GS300 without Nav, I知 very interest to purchase VAIS SL2I-Up for my car, asked Lexus dealer at Fremont, they are charge $500 for it, and not sure is the right product I like to buy it. I think that is way too much, so I知 search VAIS web, it show SL2I-UP is working for my 2006 GS, but still have questions to ask for someone can help me.
I知 living in Bay Area, can anyone know the shop sell the VAIS product and do the installation? San Jose or Fremont area.

Thanks

Seems steep even if it includes installation considering installation even by somebody who doesn't know what they're doing might take half an hour max.

That should be for the VAIS and installation. I have an 06 GS3 as well, but i just put it in myself. It took 20 minutes from start to finish.

500 installed is crazy. for basic ipod connection (for songs), sl2i-up is perfect for your car. the unit itself is roughly 200, for install, it shouldn't take more than an hour for a good shop (so you can gauge the rate)

Wow thats expensive, I only paid $280 for product and install at a local sound shop, so $500 is crazy they are over charging you!
