Guys,
Could someone tell me how many TPMS sensors can be stored in memory? I have two sets of wheels (winter, summer), and they all have tpms sensors. My dealer just told me each time I switch wheels the computer needs to be reprogrammed for new sensors. I thought those are programmed in sets, and each time you swap all four wheels it detects new active set, and stops monitoring old one.
Can someone confirm that?

you can store two sets of sensors in memory. There is a switch underneath the glove box in the passenger foot well to switch between the A and B set of sensors. You have to manually change the switch from A to B when you change wheels.

 

I knew they are full of !@#$. They were just trying to pull the service scam on me! I don't know, if it was intentional, or just lack of knowledge by service rep... Just keep your eyes open when you need your car serviced by Tri County Lexus in NJ.
