Hi all,

I just discovered there's an iPod interface kit for my GS.

I currently have my iPod attached to the USB connection and it works ok. Do I gain (or lose) anything by using this interface kit instead?

Don't think that adds anything.

That kit looks like the kit for pre-10 model GSes with sat radio and are looking to replace that with iPod connectivity.

That said, it probably doesn't have the same 'auto-select' glitch in the Gen6 systems, but since it replaces the satellite radio I wouldn't go for it since there's no obvious improvement.

your 2011 GS should have USB, meaning you have full control over your iphone/ipod via touch screen. What more would you want??

KILLERGS4 is correct I have a 2011 and that is how it works for me...

only you might want to do in the future is get a ML plus from Vais Tech. that system is going to be tight when they finish it. I already ordered mine. just waiting for the release

Hey Mistro - I just went to their website and if that is what I think it is, that is going to be one dope system. Can you clarify it for me?

From reading it, it seems like it is basically a new brain for the Nav system.

Does that mean if I don't have Mark Levinson and I get this brain, it will let me watch videos on the screen? Also, it will have this dope new interface?
