Default McGard Splinedrive kit question

Is this the correct kit I would need?
part # 65557BK

http://www.amazon.com/McGard-65557BK...4299195&sr=1-1

I also want to know if this is all I need to install them on my car with my aftermarket wheels? I already have a breaker bar.

If you check here it seems to match up, but I just want to make sure

yup as long as you order 12x1.5 you'll be ok. i have the same lugs and all i'll ever use is mcgard splinedrive. been using them for the last 6 years or so and never been disappointed.

I'm hoping this will fix my high speed vibrations on my aftermarkets..last summer I got wheel balance, wheel alignment, n still had vibrations. I was told it was my generic lug nuts

lugs are not going to fix your problem. im willing to bet you do not have hubcentric wheels do you? and if not im willing to bet you do not have hub rings do you?

hubcentric means the wheels are center on the hub just the oem wheels. the center bore (ie hub size) of the wheel is what fits over the hub. typically most after market wheels have a larger center bore to allow them to fit on many different cars (typically some where in the 73mm range). ideally you want to center your wheel on your hub (hubcentric) instead of your lugs. in order to do so you get hub rings that match your cars bore and your after market wheels center bore.

for example lets say your wheels have a 73mm center bore, then you would order hub rings that are an ID (inner diameter) of 60.1mm (lexus hub size) and an OD (outer diameter) of 73mm (to match the center bore).

9 times out of 10 when people get after market wheels this is why they have vibrations at high speeds. they usually do not order hub rings.

I just received my kit this weekend and i noticed the installation tool does not fit on my breaker bar or on the socket that i usually use with my breaker bar. Any suggestions on what I need to make this work so i can put my wheels on?

I have one of those four way tire irons. They always seem to have the size for any application.

I dunno about your kit but mine fits in a 19mm socket just like the stock lugs do. i use my 1/2" breaker bar with a 1/2" 19mm socket. works for me no problem
