Yes the spring/bolt is a ***** to put on. The Tanabe/Top Speed exhaust's flange is about 1 cm thick compares to the stock 0.2 cm thickness with cuts therefore you had a hardtime to bolt the spring back. What I did was using 2 zip ties for each spring to compress the spring, as soon as the bolt gets a bite to the thread I cut the zip ties. This way is easier and faster... not sure how others did it but it works for me.

great thread. I have an 06 GS300 AWD too. Looking at either the same coilover or going with air. How bad is the wobble? I was also trying to find a video of the exhaust since Im looking at doing the same. Link?

It's sad that I had a teaser a short time back and I got the item painted, BUT it's still not installed on the car. Still waitin for a friend at this auto body to do this solid. .
But in the mean time I got bored of the g spiders and got some Varrstoen's 1.1.1, Hyper Black, 18x9.5 all around +30 front, +22 rear. My most flush set of wheels! You cant even fit a pinky between the rear fender and tire and it doesn't rub. Mind you I still have my CV1's for when the roads actually get fixed this season, if they ever do. In the mean time I'm enjoying these step lips!!

Well no more teasers, my friend from the body shop came to my house and installed my artisan spirits roof spoiler. Unfortunately his side of the install was about 1-2mm too far from the water duct or whatever you call it, (the deep line in between the roof and the rear window). So my initial wooooooooooo! reaction was not there =\. Should be heat gunning the 3m tape and redoing the install very very soon. Sooner the better for my own piece of mind. (I'm very OCD.) Anyway here it is.

car looks really great, LOVE the rims.
can you take some full side shots so we can get a nice full view of the visor?
i have one on the way so very excited to see it in action (esp on the same color car!)

Next up was the amp location. I originally thought to place it all the way in the back of the trunk, under the arm rest hole, but we ended going to the right space of the trunk. A custom enclosure was made with a new cut out so I could still use the oem trunk light. I had no idea the amp would be in an enclosure like this. I was pleasantly surprised. The blue led's are wired so that any time the trunk opens, the blue leds are on.

The final product
The components are all in stock door locations. The front dash speaker was disconnected, and the rear floating sub has been disconnected since i first got the sub 3 years ago.
As for the processor, it was hidden away, close to the factory amp to my knowledge. The owner told me he took 3 hours to tune the system.
So far besides myself, 2 of my friends have listened to the system. One of them described it as the heavens opening the gates to audio heaven. The mids and highs with these components are insane!!!! Doesn't matter how low or high I play the music, they are extremely clear and precise, like the music is being made live in a hallway with musicians playing on each side of you, and the singer 10 feet away from you. Other statements made: "I feel like i'm at the club turnin up with the speaker right next to me". "I feel like there is a live orchestra in your car." "It sounds like the guy is hitting the triangle right in front of my ear" "I feel like R kelly is sitting next to me singing". I can go on LOL. I feel like the tuning dumbed down the sub but def hits extremely precise. My old set up was straight BOOM!
