yes and no, your statement is not complete

if you put the shifter in 3 and floor the car from stop, it will go to 1st, redline, automatically shift into 2nd, redline, automatically shift into 3rd. but when it gets to 3rd gear redline, it will just stay there and bounce off the rev limiter. it does that because you selected 3 in your sport shift

it will not go into 4th unless you put it back in D or **** it into 4th

I think we discussed this before, very interesting information Romini. I can tell you that in the '08+ models ( 8 speed ), it will shift automatically in all gears.

The only time where it bounces off the rev limiter, is when the traction control is off!

This is in my cars future my boy has done over 30 2jz swaps in many different chasis. I ll need close to 20k to do it right, and It will put out close to 600hp.

if anything it's difference between us spec and other regions, i believe i tested it on my car (08).

I have an 08 but 6 speed (since GS350 not 460) and it does what Romini says.

It will automatically upshift even if the traction control is off. It bounces off the rev limiter if the wheels are still spinning when it hits the limiter.
