I'm riding 22s wit a 30 series tire and u have to be on point where u drivin out here in NYC .. I'm pretty sure a 20" rim wit a 30 series tire is not that much different so I would say go wit the 35 cuz If I was able to, I would!!

Makes me want to reconsider getting 20s over 19s. Roads here in Oakland, CA are pretty bad too! However, there are a TREMENDOUS amounts of "DONKS" in oakland. Just the other day I've seen someone in an 2006- ES on what looked like to be 26". I'm not a fan of super big DONK wheels so I'm not sure how big it was.

I say if the roads are already bad with stock rims and low tread, then its probably going to be super bad with 20s.

I'm riding 30 series tire all day long drive back and forth from the valley to the bay area and have had no problem but I know the roads and know what to look for. When you have a custom car you have to take care of it on the road and off. You can blow a tire on stocks if you hit it hard enough but if you want to ride 20s then you have to adapt to the roads and watch what you are driving on

When you guys say that you are running stretched on 35's or 30's, does that mean you are running slimmer tires? Like 225's and 245's?

My first Lexus and first time upgrades ever... Haven't had a problem yet, no rubbing, tires/wheels holding up just fine.
