read posts 166, 170 and 173.

I'm assuming he went ahead and ordered the 20 sets of lights even though he hadn't sold all of them yet, knowing that he could sell them and cut out 2 weeks on the shipping time getting them from Japan.

that makes no sense at all. why not just order them from Japan, yourself??? it's a hell of a lot closer to you than California. You'll spend the money saved from this GB in shipping.

Actually shipping is cheap. Much cheaper to do the GB. It will cost him $400 shipped from Japan.

Just received Philips 6000k from Nigel last night. Nigel is a nice guy, anyways I put it on and compared to Garax 6000k, Phlips started up with a purple hue to it, when it's already warm up the color is pure white with no blue tint in it. Vision on the road with Philips is much better compare to Garax due to pure white color and also I notice the cutoff line Philips is much sharper than Garax, I believe because of the light output on Philips is brighter.

If you ask me is it worth to buy Philips over Garax? My answer is if you have extra money to spend then go with the Philips bulbs, I still think Garax is best bang for the buck. Will update with pix later on tonight.

keep in mind it still has to be broken in..

I really liked the 6K Garax at first but after it broke in, it was just too blue for my taste. I just got confirmation of shipment, so hopefully I'll get to enjoy them soon!

not sure if you get the red salt after usage, but brand new out of the box is no red salt.

I gotten mine from Nigel on Wednesday. I have not put them in yet since I already have a current set on this car as the lights are intended for my upcomming vehicle.

Have a look at Batman's response, both lead to the same conclusion
