Hi i need some in put on what size tires to run on 22" wheels while lowered on bc coilovers. Im currently using a 245/30/22 on a 8.5 rim and i was wondering if i should switch it to a 245/25/22 to go a lil bit lower. Any advice would be great thanks!!

correct. no such size exist. i ran 245/30/22 on my bc coils. still too high since the wheels were too large.

were you running the same size in the rear? and if so did you remove the wheel liner?

running the same size because the wheels were not staggered. yes liners were removed front and rear.

your right about the tire size they do make a 25 but not a 245/25 they make it in a wider size just not the 245. my mistake sorry. Thanks for all your info.

correct, you can get a wider tire in a 25/22 but thats not going to help you lol.

do you have these on your car already? if not, just a little fyi, it does take a bit of work to get the wheels to fit and lower the car.

I have 245/30/22 right now and have minor rubbing. I was just looking to see if they made a 25 to make things easier for me . Thanks for all your help. Any info you have that would help me on these 22" would be great Thank you!!!!

Have you ever seen that 06 gs vip on 22" lowered? its pretty low but Im wondering how they did it. do you have any idea hhow they did it?

probably lots of work. i know when i was lowered, about a finger gap i had to notch the bracket for the front bumper and fender because it was rubbing on turns and it was also rubbing on the frame end at the bottom of the firewall

235/30/22 on 22x9 in front 265/30/22 on 22x11 in back. It was a b#$ch to fit a lot of cutting and triming. Not worth it after repainting my fenders then having to replace and paint new fenders.

Im just using 22x8.5 so it should be a lil bit easier to work with. But I have to say yours looked sweet. What brand of wheels were you using in the pic?

Riding a 8.5 can also suck because do to limited tire sizes made in 22 you can t have any stretch at all which means its harder to get aggressive and low. Lexani makes a 225/30-22 but good luck getting your hands on it everytime I checked they were on back order for months. This is the major reason I switched to a 20 and have never been happier with my car and everyone that sees it is in agreement. Im not trying to bash the 22 movement but bigger wheels doesn t always mean diameter, wider is better!!!!!
