Jerry wasn't available today when I called (off) so I'll call tomorrow. I anticipate buying from him, if these posts are any indication of what prices are available.

Attempted to call Jerry today - he was off. Will try again tomorrow, and will also try Troy. My original warranty expires next month, but plan to keep the GS a long time - impressive car.

Another thought - before I call Jerry (or Troy), has anyone used the extended warranty provided by either of these individuals, and if so, how did it turn out?

Yes i have used my exte warranty to replace a back up camera because sometimes when i put it in reverse i would have a black screeen with a white line running through.

I have the platinum warranty on my cop gs300. So far, it has covered my sunroof motor, an ac blower motor and a piston on the rear trunk lid. It has more than paid for itself and I have 65000 more mile to go! Glad I spent the funds.

Did you purchase your extended warranties from Troy or Jerry?

I bought mine here in Florida from JMLEXUS when I bought my car. I think it was about 2150 for the 7 year 125000 mile platinum warranty.

Yes it from troy getrik as i stated ealier in thia thread. You got a booklet under the purchasers name saying what kind of coverage and how much u payed. Also when lexus runs ure vin # in the computer it tells them that you have extended warranty. Lexus send me the booklet 3 times until i finally got it. But it didnt matter i had my service advisor check my vin to make sure it was there. Dont worry its pretty simple, if by any chance they deny to do something on extended warranty that says in the booklet that its covered all you do is call lexus 1800 # and have it resolved.

Update - I bought the 8 year/75k Platinum no-deductible warranty from Jerry yesterday after my Lexus dealer finance mgr. (reluctantly) advised she researched the matter with Lexus, and said it was totally acceptable. She had previously indicated it may not be a Lexus warranty, but then confirmed it was. I admire her honesty, especially considering she also stated she couldn't come close to Jerry's price for the identical coverage. As always, research has its own rewards.

I can't answer you question, however from previous experience from other comparable makes, mileage can be 'fudged', time can't.
