Default GS450h vs GS350?!

Is this a good idea? My main reason to get a GS350 was for the AWD at first but to find a 350 with AWD, ML, and in a color OTHER THAN silver that has both of those features is damn near impossible for under 28-30k. But how has reliability been with the 450h? Any problems? Is gas mileage much better? Just interested in hearing everyone's opinions.

Thanks,
- Tyler G.

If you have not scan the GS 450h forum. Problems are rare in regards to the hybrid system, its as reliable as anything made that isn't a hybrid.

I think most of us 450h owners love our cars. I would buy the newer one if and when I am in the market for another car. You do get better mileage, but keep in mind people buy 450h for the the performance and not the fuel economy of it.

The main problem for me would be that the trunk on the 3GS is already too small and oddly shaped in the standard drivetrain models.
