Default Thinking of making the cut, am I crazy?????

So I hate that the front of my car won't go low enuf and I'm thinking of cutting out the fender above my upper control arms, am I nuts???

You've gone this far, complete the job. Check the 2GS forum also, I know quite a few guys on there have cut their fenders out. From what I understand, all you need is a circle cut out on the shock tower.

Seriously at this point why not, noone is ever going to know whats up in your wheel well take the air saw to it bro and touch up paint and ruberized spray coat it you ll be golden

your engine bay will get stupid dirty with an exposed hole like that. I had my fabricator cut a hole and build a tig welded box over it. Heres a pic:

Wow I'm shocked.

I expected everyone to say no way I was nuts!!

Now I feel like I have to do it! Friggen peer pressure! Hahaha

One thing I didn't mention is this is my daily beater and I will still be driving it in the winter. I'll put back the stock shocks for winter though.

just do what vincent pictured. cut the hole and fab a small box over the hole.
