Default DIY Amplifier install help needed

Ok so dont flame me here for this question but i have looked in the stickied section of the gs 3rd gen forum and cant seem to find an after market amplifier install with the correct wires to tap from from the amplifier in a non-ML navi car. i know in the IS forums there is lots of info and thats how i did my last install. I have searched and turned up nothing! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

even with the wire guide from say ....... staub tech, you will never be told the 100% right wires to use. u need to unplug the amp and use a 9v battery to bump the sub to see what wires to use. or u go right to the speaker or sub itself and use the wires that come off of it
