i know what you mean, esp if you have to go through a middleman. i ordered a part back in january, and i still don't have it yet! 
was told by the shop i deal with that 2 distributors they deal with went bankrupt (hence the 6 month wait period), and they would have to go through a US distributor now. another wait period of about 2 months (late august or early september if i'm lucky). F that, so i cancelled my order and i'm ordering directly from japan (with the help of my japanese friend 
). having some hiccups right now, as the banking information provided by japan doesn't jive with my bank's. need to get this all sorted out somehow.
