I just go to Wally world and get 1 case + 1 qt of 5w30 Mobil 1 and take it to the dealership. They supply the filter and labor. $35.00 for oil and another $25 or so at the dealer. Seems to be the least painful of all the options and besides, I enjoy going to wal mart from time to time to watch the freak show!

I have no idea. I've researched all over the internet, read a bunch of articles and I still can't figure it out.

No worries. The next time I change my oil, I'm probably gonna go with the Mobil Synthetic 0W-30 or the Pennzoil Platinum 5W-30. I can't find 0W-20 anywhere anyway.

Is the "Oil Maintenance Required" light supposed to come on every 3K or 5K?

Every 5k.

20 grade has less viscosity and friction at operating temperatures, giving better fuel efficiency than 30 grade. However, with less viscosity there maybe slightly less protection...

It turned out my dealer is using 5W-20 synthetic in my car. Is that the right oil? Should I switch to 0W-20?

I have an oil change due this week.
