Default Thinking of getting either a 06 gs430 or 07 gs350

Is there anything I should look out for when shopping?

Should I be good with a 25000 budget ?

If not a Lexus what would you get for 25000 right now (note trying to keep Maintnence to a minimum)

1. you should be able to find a nice car around that price.
2. Drive both and buy the one that makes you smile the most.
3. A carfax isn't worth the paper is printed on. Have a good mechanic/body shop verify the car has never been in a wreck.
4. Check the national service history with Lexus and make sure the car has been properly maintained.
5. Decide what options you want and don't buy until you find the car that has everything YOU want, most people will settle and then regret it later.

both are nice cars but id pick the 07 over the 06 because at least it has a more up to date system (gen 5 vs the gen 4 in the 06s)

I really hope nobody lets that be the only reason they picked one car over the other.

resolution is a little bit better but not enough to be a deal breaker IMO... like i said you need to drive both cars and see which car makes you smile...

The GS430 engine is a lot more reliable than 350. And in return 350 give you better mpg.

350 only gives you a little bit better MPG.... my 430 gets 28 MPG as long as i fill it up with no ethanol... Gas with 10% ethanol i get 26.9MPG....

Well the main difference is that the 430 is a V8.. so if you like the growl/torque, go for it. In terms of performance, I think the 350 is a tad faster, newer navigation, aux input, mp3. Your choice

never had a 350 beat my 430 and a few have tried besides the growl/torque 430 also has better suspension and smoother more reliable engine.

GS350! Same power, better mpg, newer nav system, newer car so better extended warranties, and AWD option.

I would go with the 350 because of the updated system and tech. sorry that is a deal breaker for me.
