cargurus.com puts the "live market value" at around $23k for a 2006 gs300 with 65k. i think prices are inflated due to the tsunami, so dealers are using this to their advantage. i would stick to $22k max even with CPO, cause it's still a buyers market regardless.

i was the one negotiating on the 2008 gs460, and the dealer won't come down from $40k. again, prices are inflated but should come down after the summer and with the release of the 4th gen GS. it's just not a great time to be buying a lexus now.

yeah, the key is not telling them if you plan to pay cash or finance. cash is NOT king when negotiating. the reason being that the dealer can make some money off of you from the "back end", i.e. financing.

so next time, just saying "i haven't decided yet. show me what the rates look like."

so go back and tell him you plan to finance. you'll get 45 days with no payments and then just pay the loan in full.

Ive been trying to do the right thing & search for it but there is no straight foward answer...plus the fact that there arent that many that dont lower the car.
Yes you can, sorry mad late been on vacation! but IO wouldn't put 20" on a GS at all just because I don't want to sacrifice comfort. I would stick with 19"

They are really expensive right now. Just check autotrader.com I bought mine last year in april and paid $20,500 for one with 56,000 miles. 2006 awd. It has navi, sun shade all that stuff accept ML and XM. No warranty. Sadly the computer went out about 2 months ago (power steering died) and cost me $800 to get fixed. Besides that I have been fine.
