UPDATES on 20 inches Wheels and tires HELP!
Hello Club Lexus members.~!
First of all I would like to say thanks for your concerns and advice.
I refused the package and it is on way back to wheelmax.
Because I ordered 255/35/20 and 245/35/20. I know I should have done
enough research about the it but I just simply ordered the wheel after talking to my friend.
anyways, should I keep all 4 wheels same size in 245/35/20? or
245/30/20 for incase of rubbing issue
I've heard 30 ride rough compare to 35... is it true? or not much of difference?
Thanks again

The bottom line is the larger wheel will cause you to have a speedo error and may add premature wear and tear on the trans and rear diff. As far as riding rougher, no there will be slightly less rubber protecting the wheel but if you hit something hard enough to damage a 30 series 9 times out of 10 you would have done the same damage with the 35. You need to be cautious and pay attention to whats in the road if you want to ride rims. Also get your purchase insured especially if they are expensive wheels. I personally run a 225/30 stretched on a 9 and soon to be 9.5 on my front and 245/30 on a 10.5 and I drive the hell outta my car and have even taken some rather long road trips, and also drive through the Baltimore, Washington D.C. area on a regular basis with no issues. ride the 245/30 and call it a day, this will keep the car in factory spec and it will ride fine!
