lol, so if i cant afford or just feel its a bad investment (which it is) . then you are saying i should trade in my lexus and get a kia. these kind of comments would make someone wanna get a kia! if people view lexus owners as 'stuck-up' id rather not be viewed that way. the way you make it seem. im not rich 'at all' im also not poor. but i never realized a 50k car was such a BIG deal. any person that really wants to can afford this car! maybe make some sacrifices. also, at no point does it say that the cheaper bulbs will NOT work.

Off the bat, he's already $100 richer than you and it doesn't stop there. Keep this in mind, you don't become rich by spending your money.

There are smart investments and poor investments. Investing in a car is a VERY poor investment, practically zero chance for your investment to increase in value.
agreed! actually i think its a real zero % chance you'll increase the value. like i said, i have a stock bulb already flickering and turning on and off, how much are these philips again? spending 250 on bulbs is silly imo, but then again thats just me. if im going to invest in making my car stand out id invest in springs, rims, lip things like that.

I had a cheap HID conversion kit when I had the 99 Toyota Solara back then, but then I was being cheap since I had a cheaper car, considering it was given to me from my dad when I had a 95 Toyota Corolla which my mom given to me years earlier and sold it off once I gotten the Solara.

I stepped up to a Lexus, I want quality products in the car.

Well in a way that is true about the car, which my friends also mentioned very similar. Why spend more for a car if one is going to put cheap stuff in it?

On the side, I had a argument with a family member before I went into a Lexus because the lines went along - you don't need a Lexus, you just need a cheap car (implying Toyota), since you only use it to drive from point A to B - no one really cares what car you drive.
