It would be a welcome addition but it really is high time that Lexus release another SC not-retractable hardtop coupe in the vein of the original. And with a stick.
Heck, even a 4GS Coupe should be offered with a manual transmission.
Either way, Lexus is in desperate need of a real coupe.

I got mixed feelings about the idea...
Why not put all of these ideas for a new coupe towards a third generation SC? Something that appeals to a wider range (lots of hate for the 2SC from alot of people for many reasons).
Make the third gen SC more mod friendly with more performance options besides cold air intake and exhaust. People looking for luxury performance coupes want power and style and the 2SC just didn't offer it.

A new GS coupe would be a long awaited wonderful addition to the Lexus Line-up, but it better have some performance to back up its good looks so it won't be another ho-hum alternative to the sportier and more capable Audi, BMW, Mercedes competitors. Last but not least, i know paddle shifting is the way of the future, but will it kill Lexus to make a true manual transmission for the true enthusiast please???!!!

I voted yes only because there is no word of a new SC. I would love another large proper touring coupe (i.e., gen1 SC) and if there is no SC planned I would prefer a GS coupe. No small convertible either. I will be in the market for a large sporty coupe or coupe-sedan (CLS) in a year or two and will be looking at <$80k. Would be ecstatic if Lexus had something for me to look at.
