Well i guess that leads to another question......obviously the wire option is cheaper to do....but what are the cons to cutting the wire does that work the exact way the ps kit does what are the differences between them besides cost ?
navi/dvd bypass is not the same as the vaistech kit.
if you do not have ML then i would say its pretty pointless since you have the 06 and can access the override menu for the navi part. Its only nice if you have ML so you can have movies play.
nav override has very little to do with vaistech products. at the most it enables some audio menus when car is moving. but i can't say i remember enough on the 06 gs (gen4 system) if there is huge benefit
