True it does cost more, however this is OEM brand, not aftermarket brand. Also since this is not a mass production product, it will cost more. With this, it will guarentee it will last and perform well.

Can get these from Nigel-JDMParts (forum vendor) for a good price. I believe the "clublexus" coupon code works too, since I used it before.

The other thing which some members have mentioned is that, we spend $$ for a Lexus, but cannot buy nice lights? I was a former Garax user.

What about 8000k or 10000k bulbs, will they burn the ballast? On my infiniti it was a problem, Is it same with Lexus?

why would you want such a high temp bulb? the only way you'll burn your ballast is if you buy the wrong wattage

I want the deep blue color, but I had problems with an infinitis before, ballast burning up and/or wiring. It's my first lexus, so I have not yet experienced what they can handle and what they can't. Thought maybe someone else went this route?

if you get the correct wattage bulb, you'll be fine. as far as the color, the higher up you go, the less light output you get.

I got the 8k garax and love it... Not too much of a deep blue, not too much of a light blue and they perform very very well!
