Hey guys, I wanted to know how many people here have ever towed either some jet skis or a small boat? I have been thinking about purchasing a Seadoo Speedster 150 which weighs about 1500lbs. With the hitch and trailer, i'm thinking it will be about 1800lbs or so in total. I am afraid the car won't be able to handle that kind of load on a regular basis and also afraid of how docking the boat in and out of the water affects the car. Probably would take out the boat around 3-4 times a month. What do you guys think? Anyone have experience with this? Please help.

 

I have no idea, but I would love to see pictures of a 3GS towing a boat out of the water... I think that would be a first!

I wouldn't exceed over 700 pounds to be on a safer side.
