I noticed my car produced this low "hissing" sound at speed above 120 km/h. At first I thought it may be my tires, but these are new tires and it only happens when I give it gas (I am very light on my gas pedal). Does anyone ever experience this before?

The RPM is around 2100. It's hard to tell at highway speed, but it sounds like it's coming from somewhere in the engine compartment. May be "hissing" is not a good word to describe it. It's more like a high pitch sound, but very low. I tried it again this morning on my way to work and I can hear it as the speed passes 120km/h. I also thought it maybe the A/C, but it happens with or without the A/C on.
