I just picked up a ML+ system. I got a quote from Showtime Audio in chicago for $150 for installation. They were recommended to me by VAIS and they have a lot of experience installing VAIS systems in the 3GS. This seems right on to me. Is this a good price?

From what I have seen, the installation looks easy enough, but I don't have the time this weekend, and want it installed before next week. What would a fair price be?

An experienced installer should take about one hour to remove, install/wire, setup/test, then put everything back. So whatever the rate you think is fair for one hour labor.

Don't forget to get the OEM Apple component cable.

Going with Custom Installation and Design... $100 for installation & they are coming to me to install.
