If yours has a display button, you need to hold it down for a few seconds on the display you want ot reset.

That's probably the issue, if the meter hasn't been reset in a while and the car has been idling. You reset it by holding one of the buttons, usually the "Mode" button, this is on an IS but should be similar on a GS.
IS uses a "Disp" or "Display" button.

I never hever heard of the two gas companies in question and never seen them in WA. Not sure how accurate it is but it was a different forum member who mentioned about top teir.

You've never heard of BP????? They're responsible for one of the worst man-made disasters in all the land.

Around here in NYC most popular gas stations, BP,Exxon,Mobil,Sunoco,Getty ( I consider that thing crap) and Hess.

Yes, I know BP - the oil company. BP - the gas station? Nope! That is what I was trying to say.
Yes here in NYC they are very popular BP Gas Stations

Original poster. Filled up with Shell 93 octane. 200 mile trip, 27.1 average. Very happy with that.

To reset the fuel mileage indicator, just hold down the display button when the mpg is being shown and it will reset to 0 and start all over for the mpg reading. You can change this anytime you want. Does not have to be done on just refueling. This is for the GS model. Mine is a 2010.
