GS all weather floor mats
Lexus GS website shows this as an accessory.
Louisville Lexus dealer parts dept doesn't know anything about them.
Doesn't make sense......has anyone bought these?

I spoke to my dealer's parts dept. last week and they informed me that they pulled the all weather mats because people were stacking them over the carpet mats and they were slipping forward and causing acceleration issues.

I just bought my 2007 GS 450h recently too.. and all season floor mats were the first thing that crossed my mine.. I called a few friends that worked at lexus and they said that for some odd odd.. reason?.. lexus never made all season floormats for the GS?.. but he recommended weather tech?.. but i swore i've seen all season mats for our GS?.. time to keep on searching.. if i see some for a deal i'll def pass it all your CL member too!!

All weather floor mats did exist for the GS. However, they do not allow any dealerships to sell them as people were stacking them and causing "recall" issues. They were meant to be a replacement for the carpet floor mats but people were just putting it on top of the original mats which could technically cause the floor mats to get stuck under the accelerator. As far as I know, no dealership is allowed to sell the all-weather floor mats except for the redesigned newer ones for selected 2010 and up models.

Personally, I LOVE the WeatherTech mats! I have them in my S5 and they look great and work amazingly, No leaking under the mats at all. Seriously forget about Lexus mats and go with a custom WeatherTech mat for the 3GS... You won't regret it!

I got the salesman to throw in the same set that SCGS350 posted when I bought my used 07 GS 2 months ago, but I will be getting the WeatherTech when the winter comes as I know the Lexus will not protect the carpet. This is especially true on the driver's side because the mat is very small and there is a lot of exposed carpet areas.
