unless you have something crazy going on in car electrical wise (system, air ride, etc..) any normal battery (as long as its the same size) will do just fine.

You don't get a factory battery in a north american lexus dealership. You get a totally different battery made in Mexico.

Not to say it's no good, it's just fine, but it's not as good as the factory Panasonic battery.

Think about how heavy batteries are and what they would cost to ship from Japan... everybody would be buying the Mexico batteries elsewhere because nobody would want to pay the extra freight anyway.

Its a preference, oem batterie works just fine and proven to last 5years+.
