Hi. I hate that this is my first post but i am desperate for answers as i picked up some upgrades.
So i have an 06 gs300 with Navi and NO-ML. I bought the receiver, screen, and navi board (ecu) off of the 07 with no ML.
My question is.. does the 06 harness plug right into the 07 unit with no modification? I looked everywhere on this discussion but didnt quite find a straight answer.

yes it requires lots of cutting and rewiring and a couple custom made harnesses to make it all work. it IS NOT plug and play at all

I use it everyday and it performs flawlessly

It would not be possible to use the ml+ by only changing the screen and nav ecu? Keep the Hu the same.

Connections
Hi Benbuilt4u,
Got a question for you. Do you know if the connections at the back of GEN5 cd changer are the same as the GEN4? connections from the screen and from the car from the cd changer.

You can just switch the cd changer between gen4 and gen5
