Dont bother with the lex dealer. I think a smart option is to go to your toyota dealer. Look for coupons on their website first. Save yourself the dough. They dont use any special pixie dust.
Also, where did the previous owner get the oil changed?
I know that this will cause many club lex members to spit their coffee out, but I have had my RX in to a Tires Plus and Jiffy Lube with no ill effects (yet).
Good luck.

for a car diy-er like myself, a house without a place for me to do my car maintenance is like a house without a bedroom for me... hehe.
another option you can do if you care about what is going into your car engine, and i see alot of people doing, is get the oil yourself (mobil1 from costco when they'r on sale?) then work out something with a local shop where they do oil change for you using your oil (and filter?).

I lived in an apartment complex that prohibited working on cars. I painted a car, installed multiple coilovers and other suspension components, changed oil, did a head gasket, replaced a transmission...
I guess it depends on how strict they are.

My dealer would use Shell non-synthetic on my '07 GS 350, although synthetic now comes from the factory, and is specified in my wife's RX350. Also, her oil change/service interval is 10k miles.
I change my oil/filter at 7500 miles, and use full synthetic.
