I got new rim put on today.. and got a chance to do some close up pics...

Heres the DIY:
1.I first made a templet of the housing with a cardboard..

2. Then i traced the card board on to some mdf wood i had

3. Wrapped the wood with fleece and applied the resin


4. Then i took out the fiberglassed pieces, cut them, sanded them, and added bondo..sanded again.. a lot of sanding

5. Primed, painted, cleared, and wet sand..

Wow that looks like a VERY clean install. I probably would've just used those weather proof led strips and stuck it directly on the fogs at the bottom lol.

Yeah, I'm not big fan of add on LED's. I see the most rediculous cars driving around with LED's in NY. Dodge caravan's old Accords, and other rediculous "candidates". I always get a laugh out of them. As if those LED's are going to "make a benz out of that datsun" LOL. But you actually did pull it off well, and they do look like they belong there. Very nice work!

^^^ yeah cause he didnt use those cheesy strips, these look like real led daytime lights from a benz nice work guy, you could makes some money with these since you already have the temp plates

I got the led from eBay... .they are for Benz so they are really good... I still have to get the night pics up

if I had the time I would but this took me like the spand of a month working on iron my days off...lol
