Post Today at America Tire

I called America Tire to order some lug nuts for my new wheels and the guy work there told me he can take care of the put the wheels on for me since im still on stock, so I bring it there after 15 mins later he came to me and said need to drill just install the air presur sensor otherwise he cant put it on like that for me. I agree with him, the total come out $199. First I was though only need to spend $50 since they will put the wheels on for me for free. 20 mins later the guy come to me and point on one of the rear tire said there are some crack on it need to replace otherwise he only can put 3 wheels and 1 stock on it. I ask him for the price for the new tire bridgestone it is $359. Later in another 20 mins bring one of the front wheel show me there r bubble on it after he put some air in it. So he said have to order new one or else it will blow. Since I need to replace it so I end up pay more then $700.
The funny part was he asked me do you still want your old rims even thought I say yes, he just bring the rims to me only no tires. Overall it cost more then what I thought.

Question: How come my rear wheels rubbing bad when I only got 4 stock wheels at the back, two with tires another two doesnt. Those are front 19x8.5 235x35x19 offset +22 rear 19x10 245x40x19 +26

I really tried giving America's Tire a few times now but I've come back a little more dissapointed every time. Try going to an independent shop that specializes in modded cars. It's much more easier to deal with because they understand what the customer needs! I'd recommend 714 tires in Westminster.

Also you're rubbing in the back because you're running overspec tires. you have really low offsets so you need to go to a much smaller tire, I'm not familar with 19's but 245/35/19 would atleast reduce the amount of rubbing you have right now.

are your fenders modded? sounds like even with stretched tires it's still rubbing the fender / lining. those are some very aggressive offsets

of course you don't rub at stock height. but if you hit bad enough of a dip i guarantee you will rub too. it's matter of suspension compression. once you are "low" enough, you will rub and have to play with fenders

search for the thread i created on fender. i NEVER recommend rolling, always shaving. you achieve the same with less risks (on lexus). if you have to go with pulling that's a different story
