Default Can someone try this for me PLEASE

This will take 2 people to do
First person 1 sit in the car drivers side front put the window down turn the ignition of and open then shut the door but stay in the car now give the key to the other person outside the car person2

Person 2 lock the car with the button on the door handle and walk away from the car so it does not detect the key wait 1 minute and take the battery out of the key and return it to person 1 sat in the car person 1 then reinstalls the battery and puts foot on break and presses start button.

Does this trigger the cars alarm or does it allow the car to start fine if the key is detected inside the car wile the anti theft armed ?

My reason for needing to know this is the directed 1101t proximity key bypass does this but I want to use the standard keyless system and only use the remote start side of the system I'm putting on the car but by remote starting the car with oem anti theft armed will it trigger the system even if it detects a key inside the car ???

I would try this myself but I'm 5000 miles from my car till December and I want to order it now.

This could be done on any GS Gen3 or IS250 IS350 LS460 LS600

Thanks

James

Thanks for that I'm on vacation at the moment till December so can't do it myself as I don't have the car with me.

The reason I need to know is because I want to fit a viper remote start / keyless entry but I don't want to use the keyless entry part just the remote start so I will continue to use the oem keyless entry I will fit a directed 1101t to bypass the smart key system this works by powering up a key inside the car when you activate the remote start so if the car is locked with the alarm armed and then it suddenly detects a key in side does it allow the car to start or does it trigger the oem alarm system ??

I need to continue using the oem system because the wife likes not having to use a key at all

Thanks in advance

James

if all you want is remote start, they have somewhere "official" lexus remote start kits. If you can't find it i'll look for it on a free day. The way you turn on the car is holding the "lock" and "unlock both at the same time.

These are not available now for the Gs and the SC is a group, buy but I don't want to use the oem remote as the range is crap if I fit the Viper one it has up to a mile rage

gotcha lex, I still haven't really had the chance to do anything since I'm being bombarded with college tests. I'll definitely test it out before i send my car back to the body shop

I just did it with some help from my daughter (bless her heart). Everything worked fine, the engine fired right up, no alarm was triggered.
