Default To ensure no rubbing

I am thinking to lower my 2009 GS350 RWD with either the F-sport or Eibach Pro Spring with a set of 20x8.5 (Front) and 20x10 (rear) with 40 offset TSW Valencia. Does anyone knows if that set up would rub in the front and the rear? What size tire should I get?? I was told to go with 245-35-20 (front) and 275-30-20 (rear). Anyone have any picture of how the car would stand??? Thanks in advance!!!

1) im pretty sure with the larger brakes the 40 offset in the front will rub on your caliper

2) 245-35-20 is too big for the front

3) there are pics of cars in the wheel thread at the top of this forum

Those tires specs are overall over-spec. Larger overall diameter than the factory 18" tires. The FSport and Eibach springs are relatively conservative though but there's still a good chance you'd rub, especially in the rear. The fronts will likely run during full turns.

Oh, and welcome to Club Lexus!

offsets don't automatically mean won't clear caliper. the disk type / spoke design is more important. you want to make sure on that

those tires are overspec so you will rub for sure. if you have spec tire setup, the front is ok. the rear is pretty close

Welcome to Club Lexus!

Those sizes and offsets should be fine as i have the identical setup (TSW Jarama).
I chose Conti DWS in 225/35 and 265/30, lowered on Tanabe DF210 (lowest spring drop) and i can get around fine. I only rub (rarely) when i have 2 adult passengers in the rear and hit big dips on the freeway but i dont want to shave my fenders.

BTW: i wouldnt get those sizes you listed. Good luck!
