Default 245/45/18 winter tires on 2008 gs450

Hi guys,

Quick question, want to get some winter tires with a bit softer ride, does anyone know if I could use 245/45/18 instead of 245/40/18 on my stock rims without rubbing or any problems?
I can get these much cheaper than the stock 40/18,

Thanks

Should work. It's just a taller tire (from rim to tread). May have some effect on the accuracy of your speedometer, and affect how the car rides.

definitely on the dot about that moose

If 20in wheels can fit, i'm sure you can fit a bit bigger tire size than OEM spec. Just remember though, your odometer reading will be off.
