hey, I had a hard time putting it on too. I broke my first bulb when I was trying to get it to stay properly. I don't know how but I broke the black piece of the bulb. After doing it several times I figured out it fits nicely in a certain position, which was not mentioned in that guide posted. I didn't know what I was doing so I followed that guide. Put it in there (randomly), forced the clips down, stuck the silver thing, and tried to turn it to lock it. Seriously took me like 20mins because the silver thing wouldn't lock properly. In the end I broke the black piece, got the bulb inside, and magically didn't make the bulb fall into the housing.
