Default Creaking windshield replacement

Just had my windshield replaced with an aftermarket windshield probably similiar to one's used at Safelite. While driving it home it is making a lot of creaks and squeeks...is this normal until the windshield sets in? Any tips I could tell the autoshop to do to help decrease the noise? Any help on this would be great, thanks!

Sounds like the windshield clips in the car, maybe the guy should cut them for you.

lol, i'd save the labor and complain to the glass company who did your windshield.... 9 times out of 10 they'll fix it.

There are no clips on the aftermarket widshield, take some felt and stick it in the middle of the dash.

They stuck foam/felt between the windshield and dash, that was what was causing the creaking/squeeking noise. On the stock windshield there was foam lined around the windshield and dash from the dealership when they tried to fix the noise. They just didn't transfer any of the foam to the new windshield when they installed it. Thanks for your help guys!

We both told him

I told him to be lazy and complain (like I usually do). And you explained to him how to fix the problem.... win win situation
