Default black smoke

Hi! every one!!!
I am new here I need some advice or will any one tell me what wrong with my GS 350 08
I had one GS300 2002 over 7 yrs and never see something like what I has found on my 2008 new GS350, I notice on edge of the mufler there is a dark black smoke kind of wet ,look like the cylinder burning some oil ....and one of my friend who worked at the Lexus dealership was tell me that is nomal because the new GS was used the timing chain not a timing belt like before that's why, and I fell like something not right ... will anyone know something about it please help me,

On the end of the muffler tip, did you actually touch it cause it sounds like the normal dirt that comes out the muffler, some pictures might help to address your problem.

your fuel mixture is too rich. It may be time to change your spark plug or air filter. a bad spark plug will not burn all the fuel correctly and a clogged air filter will not provide enough air for a good air/fuel mixture.

Hi JH48!
My car with only 40000 miles so It’s may still carrying the factory spark plug do you thing ? Should I replace the spark plug at this time yet? air filter has been replaced, and I just did the oil change last week, I love mobile 1, does anyone recommend any better oil?,also today when I came back to dealer ship to pick up my car, they told me the car good and every thing nomal even the smoke at the muflter, and they walked me around and show me about another 5 cars.... Yes ! they look also the same at mine with all dirt and black smoke, I feel safe now
