Default Tweeters or replace interiors

I'm running 1- 12"solobaric square. Stock interiors are fine but I'm looking for more highs- I find myself pushing the + button for mids & highs hoping it will magically give me more. Any ideas or links for interior upgrades or just adding nice tweeters that don't look tacky.

Do you have ML?

You can try to swap the stock tweeters but Im sure the factory amp (pioneer or ML) isnt pushing much power to them. I would say your better off with a set of separates and an external amp if possible. As for location you can use OEM locations or get creative with other spots.

Non ML. When u say stock ones, your talking about the tweeters on dash by windshield? That location looks like a ***** to get to. And those are the ones that I feel aren't good enough.

The stock tweeters are small and they don't have much power going to them. You can definately replace them, but it will take a little work because of how they are mounted. I ended up installing a set of components up front. I am getting ready to add a JBL MS-8 and some other stuff because the stock system just is not very good in my opinion.

Ok yesterday I was messing with the sound position options and noticed when I set it at rear the front dash speakers come on and are pretty loud.. I use the option with the 2front seats lit up and sound from those dash's go out. I guess I'll do some all black flush mount tweeters for the doorpanels and link them to the door speakers..

you went aftermarket amplifier with the subwoofer, why not go the extra 10 yards and do the door speakers too? I've been soo swamped I haven't had time to do a diagram for people this summer yet
