Hello all,

My wife has an 07 GS350 which she bough new and has driven the wheels off of (150k, miles.)

The water pump has just given up the ghost, we had a broken valve spring that was fixed under recall. What else can I expect?

Wow...I think that's the highest I've seen so far on this forum. Makes my 07 with 30k seem brand new!

I haven't heard much about high-mileage issues, which is a good thing. Your water pump post is likely the first we've seen on this forum.

 

Yeah, it's unbelievable. I think she has already run through 5 sets of tires and I have done the brakes several times...

The engine was making some intermittent noise and she took it to the dealer...I was a bit skeptical and they wanted 1k to change it!

The noise went away, but last night when she pulled in there was a fairly loud metal on metal noise. The bearing is shot and it started leaking fluid. Will change it on Saturday.
