Help 10mm wheel spacers???

Default Help 10mm wheel spacers???

My question is if i put 10 mm spacers on my gs350 would i need to change the studs or can my wheel still bolt on safely without the longer studs????? Soory for the newbie question


by the way the wheel is a 19 x 8 with +35 offset

No you need longer studs...5mm is the max you can go but I dont suggest that either.

@ passnu2:
to clear the front brakes with the wheel size/offset, would 10mm work or can it be less? only myfronts are this size and hence the headache so trying to figure out what would works best, didnt really want to have to mess with studs being changed

its the disc type that dictates this and yes a 5mm will allow you to clear your front bbk.

I believe any spacer less than 15mm requires extended studs.

5mm sometimes might be debatable, but for me, yes, any spacers i only feel safe if there are extended studs

So if i dont want to mess with changing studs what size spacer is needed to cover the entire stud?

Actually, I would be more confortable with the bolt on type spacers!

That's what i was figuring which is why i wanted to know what size would cover the entire stud length, that way i dont have to worry about this.

15 mm is the smallest bolt on you can get. But what is the size of your rear rim. You may need something for the rear so the fronts are out more then your rears.

You can try with your rims and see if you can get away with a 3mm. I was able to just barely get away with this but it was the design of the spokes on the rims. If this will work then I would feel ok with not changing the studs but my guess is you will need 5mm.

Rears are 19x9.5 40mm offset
