From what you explained in those 2 threads, it seems like the install problems are only for a V8. I really don't see why the set up of midpipes and o2 sensors on the V6 awd would be different from the rwd V6.

Does anyone have clear evidence that shows a difference? I wanna get this installed asap..my exhaust right now sounds like a purr, like a quieter version of a g35. I want this thing to growl!

Yes i understand that the v8 has a different set up than the v6, but my question was, is there a real difference in the midpipe set up of RWD v6 vs AWD v6.

here is a link that has pics of how the RWD v6 midpipe set up looks like.

Where's the link? I'm curious to know as we do not have AWD GS's here.

That's strange!!!

Here are the OEM midpipes removed from my V8. You can clearly see two cats and a resonator!

Im headin into the abyss on Friday and going to try to get this installed by my friend who works at Rockland Toyota dealership. Gonna get my cv boot replaced as well, since my front axle has been slowly leaking oil since tein s tech springs have been on. And that's a long time ago cuz ive been on coils.

What had happened was, the 2 pipes (that would connect the headers to the actual midpipe with the small resonator) was short by 1 inch, compared to the stock midpipe.
