Couldn't state it better myself mr3gs300..

Jayajello i wish man but 1 inch short is 1 inch short...only way it works is if a new midpipe is designed specifically for awd... These companies give no respect to the states where there is snow precipitation lol

Thanks Lex, I have great respect for those who go for it with no guarantees!

I did the same with my GS460, invidia COULD NOT confirm if it fit on the GS460 or not because they had not test fitted it.

I went ahead and got the pipe and installed them with modifications. These mid pipes DO NOT fit the GS460 directly either. The flanges where the midpipes connect to the headers need to be rotated a few degrees. This means the pipes need to be cut, and rewelded.

Also the O2 bungs had to be relocated as they were different on the GS460.

In your case, these modifications can be done and your mid pipes WILL fit. Any decent exhuast shop can extend the pipes to fit your manifolds. It's very easy.

I had my exhaust extended my an inch on my M5 no problem.

I second what dungo said. And it's not a huge investment neither. Or shouldn't be... I has my exhaust extended out a bit as well

It's cool, ill go off topic once.. Ride is good, got custom spring rates n i run it pretty soft up front (like 7 clicks from softest), but stiffer in the rear since it was bouncy when i initially set it too soft. As far as wobbles, they are there when you first accelerate like up to 20-25mph, but it's really not that bad. No friends or family notice it when they ride in my car.

For awd it's short by one inch, but it can be extended at a shop. The two shorter pipes need to be extended. To be exact it's the pipes inbetween the stock headers and the second part of the aftermarket midpipe (that has the resonator). Mind you, the invidia midpipe comes with these 2 shorter pipes and one longer pipe w/ resonator

Im having second thoughts about the loudness if i install the midpipe, especially since my exhaust finally broke in and is louder than before. Im giving it some time, but if i sell it will be up in 3gs classifieds.
