Default Suggested tires and wheels

I am considering changing the stock 17" wheels on my 2006 GS300. I have been looking at the lfa replica wheels on eBay ( anyone with feedback on those?) my car is RWD so I was considering just going with 19" x 8.5" wheels all around but they would be 35mm offset both front and rear. Also looking at 245/40/19 tires all around as well. Just wanted to get some feedback on this combo since I figured someone has a good size combo for going with 19" wheels.

Thanks for the feedback here is a link to the wheels I am looking as but I will probably buy all same size as they will sell them all same and not staggered.

Don't do it. Why put cheap wheels on such a nice car.

Price aside I think they would look really nice on the car. It's my wife's car so not wanting to invest huge $$$ in wheels for it but would like to give it a new look

I agree mine as well keep factory wheels unless you want to stagger fit a set of wheels that will enhance the look of the car. Varrstoen makes inexpensive wheels in aggressive set ups check them out !

I'm only concerned about the price if it matches the quality.
The wheels look nice. Do some research to find how how they are made. Call the seller ans ask questions. If they are irritated and uncooperative, that will tell you a lot. People that stand behind their product are usually eager to talk about them.

As long as they are decent quality, I see no reason to not get them.
Oh, 245-40-19 is too tall of a tire...unless you don't plan to lower the car. My wife's GS has 245-35-19 front and 275-30-19 rear.

Ice is that with 8.5" up front and 9.5" in back with those tire sizes? Also I was considering not lowering it with the 40 series tires to hopefully have a taller sidewall compared to 35 series. Could I use the Fsport springs to drop it 1" with the 35 and 30 series for a good look?

With the 40 series your car will have and overspec wheel and will throw off the speedo. The car would look much better if lowered.

I was looing at these as well and someone told me they were made with cheap products so I i never bought. There are better rims to buy that are affordable. Try TireRack.
