Hello everyone,
Happy holidays to all. I am from saudi arabia, We bought an american 2006 Lexus 430 from US, and we are using it in Saudi. Now, we have an issue with its CD player and reigon problems with DVD.
My question is ... Is there any option for Installing new car audio system so we can at least use our iPod or iPhone for music?
I read through the topics where I see an option of vias tech, however, this device does not work with Lexus 430 gs 2006 that comes with DVD. Any othe ideas that can help us?

if all you care is songs from ipod, then you can do vaistech sl2i-up. won't have video but songs work fine

or you can check out the new system by prestigious, i think it might work on your car

yup it does look pretty nice, and it got video input as well so it's more flexible

Thanks for the tips, specially rominl I will be looking at the options with the prices and see which one can be better fit.

I also have one very cheap option ... you can use Cassette adapter to listen to music through 3.5mm Jack.

yes there is the adapter but honestly the sound quality is quite less than impressive. not to mention to lack of controls through factory screen and radio controls
