Mine was doing that then it totally died within days out so I replaced both of them and now it's fine.

not another one of these threads again

swap your bulbs to the opposite side to see if the problem still happens. that will help you determine if its the bulb or ballast.

I dealt with this same problem for 5+ months. I was away at school so i didn't get around to changing them (read: too lazy or too drunk).(don't drink and drive!)

I turned them off and then back on whenever i drove and after awhile i got use to it. They tell you the ballast may be going bad but i would def change the bulbs first. My problem started a week after i bought some bulbs from some ebay store that was recommended to me on here, but i had a bit of a problem with the warranty... but that's neither here nor there.

I bought a pair of bulbs from amazon (toshibas) for 50 bucks this past summer and boom, problem solved. You should try the bulbs first, at 50 some odd dollars a pair, its worth trying.

When that was happening on my IS250 it turned out to be the ballast.

problem seems fixed I switched the bulbs like XI187IXI suggested in an old thread several years ago

so far so good I hope I just had a loose connection.

Thanks.
